Goals for my week off
1. Finish unpacking
2. Go to the fabric store to make curtains,
and a cover for the parrot's cage, and a door stopper to keep the cold air in

The newest member of our household--an Amazon parrot. That's not a photo of Ricky, I'll take one later. I realize I have so much to update about, and I'm sure at least a few of you are like WHERE THE HELL IS LAURA, but I'll try to start on that soon.

Tony helped me move a lot of stuff in today.

I still have a bunch of packing left to do, but my box spring, mattress, loveseat, and chair are already up the stairs and in the apartment. Most of my clothes are too, as well as all my computer stuff (except my laptop etc.). I have a huge bag of shoes that is already packed as well as my huge back of purses. My goal is to finally sort through all of my belongings in my new place, and open an ebay account to sell some things for spare cash. Because really, I have too many clothes, purses, shoes, EVERYTHING, but I can't bring myself to part with them for free.

I'm so excited.
I've already fallen completely in love with the cat, Frosty, too. Unfortunately the other cat (who was amazing as well) named Bix passed away recently, he had FIP which is incurable and fatal. Frosty may possibly be a carrier now, so we're going to wait a while before we get any other cats. Alyce wants to get Frosty a playmate, which is a good idea by me. The roommate who I haven't met yet, named Dan, was originally going to bring a kitten, but we don't want it to get sick and die so that's not going to happen anymore.

I'm going to go to bed so I can wake up an hour early to pack a little.
And don't worry, I'll definitely definitely definitely post pictures once everything is in its right place.

Life has been super hectic recently.
I start moving in tomorrow. (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
